Segmented portable ground rod kit. Attaching three copper clad ground rods together and driving the combined unit into the ground can quickly assemble a ground for convenient use. Each of the three ground rod sections is 3’ long, thus creating a total depth of 9’ of earth grounding. 6’ of copper grounding cable, connected to the rod, makes for an easy connection to the transported equipment or vehicle. Although there are many applications for a portable ground rod kit, it is most commonly used for grounding trailers and vehicles, portable generators, and communications devices / antennas. In addition, military helicopters and fixed wing aircraft, civilian rescue, and law enforcement equipment also require portable ground rod kits.
