The QuikClot Combat Gauze TraumaPad is a 12" x 12" absorbent, flexible, non-woven triple-layer dressing embedded with kaolin, an inorganic material that safely and effectively accelerates the body's natural clotting cascade. It is specially designed to cover a large surface area or provide a bulky hemostatic dressing for packing a wound. This non-exothermic (generates no heat!) dressing is vacuum-packed and contains an X-ray strip for easy detection. The durable outer package measures 6.5" x 6" x 0.375", making it ideal for packing in your kit or carrying in a uniform pocket.
