Hey all. We have received a lot of requests for the M249 "soft pack" ammo pouches. These mount to the weapon in the same manner as the 200rd hard green plastic ammo box that has been in circulation for almost 2 decades. Here are the NSN's for the two variations: http://www.armyproperty.com/nsn/1005-01-334-1507 (100rd version) http://www.armyproperty.com/nsn/1005-01-560-5162 (200rd version) Both of them are made from a woodland-camo patterned material, although they can be had in other colors as well, by special request. And they are also referred to in some circles by the crude euphemism "nut sacks," although we prefer the more politically-correct term "soft pack." |

Do you happen to have the NSNs for the OCP variant of the nut sacks? Need to put in a requisition for some here in Afghanistan and can't find the numbers. |
