The Soldier Crew Tent can be easily erected by one or two Soldiers/persons. The tent body assembly is laid out first. The legs of the frame are then inserted into the hub and extended. The frame is positioned over the tent and the center of the tent roof is attached to the frame. The legs of the frame are secured to the tent corners, then the eaves and sides of the tent are attached to the frame. The sides of the tent are staked down. If desired, the tent fly is installed over the pitched tent and frame, providing an extra layer of weather and camouflage protection. The liner may be installed as necessary for added warmth. Frame Assembly - The frame assembly consists of four aluminum poles that, when erected, are joined at center hub. The assembled frame is an external frae from which the tent body is suspended and over which the fly is positioned. Tent Body Assembly - The body assembly is suspended from the frame assembly. The body contains a front and rear door, a stovepipe opening, and two roof vents. The tent floor is part of the tent body assembly. Thanks for writing in. The COEI / BII listing that we have in our database, for the Crew Tent ("Squad Tent"), is current with NSN's. You'll have to register as an official user, then you can view it. Just start here: http://www.armyproperty.com/app/ap/signup.php Thanks. Guest wrote: can anyone find the nsn's for the COEI for the soldier crew tents because he part numbers doesnt work.

Type 1 is the tent I am inquiring about. I cannot find information on item description, of function, for the WHITE screen that accompanies this tent. All tent parts are accounted for. Tent, Fly, Stakes, Frame, Frost Liner, Tent Stakes bag, and Cover for storage. The white screen is a mystery to me. thank you Christopher Pelletier Former SGT US ARMY US ARMY Reserve |
