Re: Magpul P-Mag Magazine NSNs |

For all who are interested: Lancer magazines (similar to Magpul, and preferred by some Air Force and other customers) now have NSN's. Lancer mags are similar to PMAG's, with a couple notable differences: first, they have a steel feed lip, which some people thing is preferable to the 100% polymer PMAG design; and secondly, the magazine is 100% semi-transparent, so it's a lot easier to get a read on your remaining round count. In any case, here they are: MAGAZINE, CARTRIDGE, 5.56MM, 30-ROUND, POLYMER/STEEL, SEMI-TRANSPARENT (SMOKE COLOR): http://www.armyproperty.com/nsn/1005-01-657-7839MAGAZINE, CARTRIDGE (awaiting more complete description from manufacturer): http://www.armyproperty.com/nsn/1005-01-657-6606In addition, for the folks who were fans of the USGI-issue improved M16/M4 magazine (with the tan follower, which replaced the original magazine that had a green follower), an NSN has been issued for a black-colored version of this same magazine. It's here: MAGAZINE, CARTRIDGE, 5.56MM, 30-ROUND, BLACK, TEFLON FINISH: http://www.armyproperty.com/nsn/1005-01-657-7803

Magpul P-Mag Magazine NSNs |

Hi all. Quick note about the Magpul P-Mag NSN's. There are numerous variations and it can be hard to keep track of the changes. Magpul is very good and conscientious about updating their product line, not for the sake of planned obsolescence but for the sake of providing end users with the best and most up-to-date products at all times. Here's a good article that lays out some of the changes / updates between the various generations of P-Mags and shows side-by-side comparisons of torn-down mags. http://www.magazinesforar15.com/mag211- ... mag557-blkAnyway, here are a few of Magpul's more popular Pmag NSN's for you. We'll try to round up some more soon.
