nsn's for these uparmored vehicles. where can I find a valid source that shows that the nsn's changes due to the armor thats put on the vehicles although the tm for it remains the same. and the nsn on the data plate is what tm you use for it. Like a memo for record or something.

Well more information would be needed in reference to what vehicle you are talking about. I own "regular" LMTVs- M1078 and I own a few M1078A1P2 that have the level one armor package. If you need information about LMTVs or HEMMTs you can google Stuart Stevenson for their armored vehicles and see the various packages that can be added. So in theory a M998 could be an M998A1P2. You should apply for access to the online TB 55-46-2 where you can see pictures and NSNs for any vehicle fielded within the last month...they take a while to get on there but Im positive you'll find what you're looking for.
