SSG Williams -- sure, we are constantly trying to refine / improve on the official DLA-generated designations for these items. It's a painstaking process but we'll get there eventually. In the meantime, if you log in with your ArmyProperty user account, you can see the commercial part number cross-referenced to each NSN. For instance, NSN 7510-01-580-8398 (
http://www.armyproperty.com/nsn/7510-01-580-8398) is listed by DLA as a "CARTRIDGE, TONER" but if you look down on the page for the FLIS data, you find out that it's the C540A1MG magenta toner cartridge for a Lexmark laser printer.
In any case, we're working to get these designations fixed up, but with over 11,000 NSN's falling under FSC 7510, it's definitely going to be a painstaking process.
Thanks!
