Thanks for writing in! The NSN for this generator was assigned in late 1996 (1996228 if you know what that means). So yes, it's been in the inventory for about 15 years. Sorry to learn about your HRH's "accountability issue" and we hope this helps out!

Is there any way I can get any help in regards to finding the actual day that Gererator LIN: G36237, NSN: 6115-01-435-1565 was brought into the army. This is a 2K Generator. I'm trying to help one of my hand receipt holders so they won't have to pay so much since I know this peace of equipment has been in the army for more than 10 years. All I can give then is a standard depreciation of 25% since I do not have the actual year it came into the service. Any help will be apreciate it. Thanks ahead
