Information for PBO’s
Currently the NSN’s for the new SAMS-E hardware being fielded are not yet published in the
SB700-20, as a result, SLAMIS has assigned a Master NSLIN (FJ103L) until the update of the
SB. Property Book Officers and NCOs should take some unique steps to place their new
SAMS-E equipment on the property book as a substitute NSLIN to the SLIN authorized on their
MTOE/TDA as follows:
Accounting for SAMS-E on the Property Books:

System-----Nomen---------------------------SLIN---NSLIN--NSN------------
SAMS-1E V1 Computer System, Digital AN/TYQ-139 C18446 FJ103L 7010-01-538-5103
SAMS-1E V2 Computer System, Digital AN/TYQ-140 C28078 FJ103L 7010-01-538-8604
SAMS-2E V2 Computer System, Digital AN/TYQ-141 C18718 FJ103L 7010-01-538-4822

NOTE: As of this publishing of this documnent we did not address the V5 configuration
(7010-01-538-4231) because there has not been a SLAMIS NSLIN assigned to this NSN yet.
Before posting, the PBO‘s will first need to select the appropriate NSN as shown from the NSLIN
Master Catalog (shown on next page). This will add the NSN to the selected User Catyalog by INS.
Once these NSN‘s have been added to the User Catalog, an Asset Adjustment (Increase) transaction for
the SUBLIN can be posted.

Upon receipt of SAM-E computers, conduct inventory, visual inspection of goods and serial number
verification of SAMS-E computers with (DA Form 3161) which is provided by Program Executive Office,
Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS), Operations, Contracts and Logistics (OCLD), System
Extension and Acceptance Team (SEAT) personnel. Once the inventory and inspection is completed,
process the Asset Adjustment (Increase) transaction to post the receipt.
